Crypto lead list: 3 API calls, 53 decision makers, 120 credits

53 Crypto lead list 19 DeFi teams that raised in 2026 and the 53 decision makers NAUT names on them. Logos: Gauntlet, Jupiter, Flying Tulip, Concrete, Fluid, Ranger, Vest Exchange, Extended, letsCatapult, Katana Network.

A crypto lead list of funded teams takes 3 NAUT API calls: search 1 sector, pull each company's team, then filter the people by title. NAUT tracks 22 DeFi companies that closed a round in 2026, and 19 of them name 53 current decision makers in NAUT's database on 31 October 2026. Of those 53, 44 carry an X handle, 42 a Telegram handle and 32 a LinkedIn URL.

Data note. Every count here was read from NAUT's own database on 31 October 2026, read-only. The universe is NAUT companies tagged DeFi with at least 1 funding round dated in 2026, after 15 tagged candidates were dropped for not being a DeFi product: 3 L1 chains, a privacy L2, a prediction market, an exchange and wallet, an identity network, an analytics tool, a cryptography infrastructure firm and 6 rows with no description to confirm the fit. That leaves 22 companies; the cut is NAUT's own call, and a wider reading would keep some of those 6. Person counts here cover 20 of those 22, because NAUT holds a duplicate team row on each of the other 2, so counting them would double-count a person; their round data is on NAUT either way. A decision maker is a published person at 1 of those companies whose current title carries founder, chief, head, president, VP or director. At 1 of the 20, 01.xyz (M&A, 8 July), the only person NAUT names holds a former title, so 19 teams carry the 53 people. 2 pairs in those 53 may be 1 person held on 2 NAUT records: Justin Ma and Justin at Vest Exchange, and Ruslan F. and rf_extended at Extended. Both pairs are counted as NAUT holds them; if each pair is 1 person, the total is 51. Every API price, parameter and plan figure comes from NAUT's own API docs, read on 31 October 2026. NAUT Research wrote it.

How do you build a crypto lead list in 3 API calls?

Call 1 gets the universe, call 2 gets the people, call 3 sorts the people by the job you need done. Everything below runs on https://api.naut.so/v1 with an Authorization: Bearer $NAUT_KEY header, and every call is a GET that returns JSON.

  • Call 1, the sector universe. GET /v1/projects?sector=DeFi&limit=100 returns DeFi companies as { data, total, page, limit, totalPages, meta }, up to 100 per page; read totalPages to know how many pages to pull. This article then kept the 22 with a round dated in 2026, picked from NAUT's database. Cost: 5 credits per page.
  • Call 2, the team on each company. GET /v1/projects/{idOrSlug} returns 1 company with its team. Loop it over the slugs from call 1. Person records carry jobTitle, twitterHandle, company and the flags hasEmail, hasPhone, hasTelegram and hasLinkedin, so your script can score reachability before it spends anything on a reveal. Cost: 5 credits per company.
  • Call 3, people by title. GET /v1/people?q=Head%20of%20BD&contactType=team searches people by name, handle or title and limits the answer to team contacts. Run it per title you sell to. Cost: 5 credits.
The 3 calls, in the order a script runs them
  1. Search the sectorA GET on /v1/projects with sector=DeFi and limit=100 returns DeFi companies, 100 a page, for 5 credits a page.
  2. Pull every teamA GET on /v1/projects/{slug} for each of the 22 slugs kept here, 5 credits each, which is where the 53 named decision makers come from.
  3. Filter by titleA GET on /v1/people with q=Head of BD and contactType=team finds the role that owns your deal, for 5 credits.

For the 22 companies chosen here the sequence is 24 calls and 120 credits: 1 page, 22 team calls and 1 title search. The rate limit is 120 requests a minute per account, 300 on Team, so the loop in call 2 never needs a sleep at this size.

Which DeFi teams are on this crypto lead list?

19 teams, ranked by the number of decision makers NAUT names on them. The last column counts the people on that row carrying an X handle, a Telegram handle and a LinkedIn URL on NAUT, in that order, so a middle figure of 6 means all 6 of that team's decision makers are reachable on Telegram.

IDO and ICOs, 21 January to 16 February 1 1 / 1 / 1
Incubation, $500K, 25 August 1 0 / 0 / 1

Those 19 companies carry 21 rounds dated in 2026, and most of those rounds state an amount, adding to more than $400M on NAUT's record. Flying Tulip raised the most of the 19, across an IDO and ICOs between 21 January and 16 February 2026, and Gauntlet's $125M Series C on 9 July is the next largest. The rounds with no amount on NAUT are still worth a pitch, because a strategic round or an acquisition moves a budget whether or not the number was published.

Which teams name the most decision makers?

Gauntlet and Jupiter, at 6 each. Below them the list thins fast: 11 of the 19 teams name 2 people or fewer.

Decision makers NAUT names, the 8 teams with 3 or more
  1. Gauntlet6
  2. Jupiter6
  3. Concrete4
  4. Fluid4
  5. Ranger4
  6. Vest Exchange4
  7. Extended3
  8. letsCatapult3

Those 8 teams hold 34 of the 53 names, so 2 in 5 of the companies carry nearly 2 in 3 of the people. For a seller that is where the choice of who to write to actually exists; at the 3 single-name teams the founder is the list.

How do you reach the 53 decision makers?

52 of these 53 crypto decision makers carry at least 1 channel on NAUT, and 47 carry X or Telegram. Telegram is the channel that covers the most of these teams end to end: Gauntlet, Concrete, Fluid, Ranger, Katana Network, hylo_so, Tenor Finance, V12, letsCatapult, Astarter and Flying Tulip each have every named decision maker on it.

Email is the thin one. 3 of the 53 carry an email address on NAUT, 2 of them at Concrete and 1 at Flying Tulip. A crypto lead list built for email alone would reach 3 people out of 53 here.

11 of the 53 hold a commercial title, which is the group a BD team usually wants first: Jeannice Tse, Head of BD at InfiniFi; Daniel Oon, Head of BD at Katana Network; Gidwell, Head of Growth at Suilend; Nazri Nordin, Head of Growth at Ranger; Sape, Head of Growth at hylo_so; Beeshal Rizal, Head of Growth at Fluid; Tonjii, Head of Marketing at Concrete; Ana Bélen, Head of Marketing at Fluid; Leeroy Jenkins, CMO at letsCatapult; and a Chief Business Officer and a Head of BD at Gauntlet. The other 42 hold founder, chief, head, president, VP or director titles, among them Tarun Chitra at Gauntlet, Andre Cronje at Flying Tulip, Samyak Jain at Fluid, Nic Roberts-Huntley at Concrete, Matthew Fisher at Katana Network, Justin Ma at Vest Exchange, Pierre Yves Gendron at Tenor Finance and Ruslan F. at Extended. Titles are the current ones on NAUT, and no contact values are printed here. Anyone listed here can ask for their NAUT profile to be removed at naut.so/legal/data-deletion.

What does a crypto lead list cost in credits?

120 credits for the 22 companies chosen here: 1 page of the sector search, 22 team calls and 1 title search, at the documented price of 5 credits per data or search call. A live run costs 5 credits for each extra page of /v1/projects results.

Step Call Calls Credits
1. Universe /v1/projects 1 5
2. Teams /v1/projects/{slug} 22 110
3. By title /v1/people 1 5
Full run 24 120

Revealing private channels is priced separately: GET /v1/people/{id}?include=private returns the email, phone, Telegram and LinkedIn values and costs 10 credits the first time for a given person, a permanent unlock, then 5. Unlocking all 53 of the people above for the first time would be 530 credits. The Essential plan at $49 a month carries 3,000 credits, which is 600 data calls, so the 120-credit build above plus those 530 credits still sits inside a single month on the entry plan. Pro at $99 carries 6,000 credits, Team at $249 carries 15,000. GET /v1/me is free, and a 7-day free trial grants credits.

2 things keep the first script cheap. A key without enough credits is answered with clearly marked SAMPLE data, synthetic and the same shape, at 0 credits, so you can write and test the loop before paying for anything. On a paid key that runs short, the call returns HTTP 402 and nothing is charged.

What this tells a crypto BD team

  • Build the list 1 sector slice at a time. 1 sector page plus its team calls is 120 credits for 22 companies, so the Essential plan's 3,000 credits covers 25 runs of this size.
  • Score before you reveal. Person records carry the hasTelegram, hasLinkedin and hasEmail flags, so your script can drop the 1 person of 53 with no channel at all before it spends 10 credits on a reveal.
  • Pick the channel per company. 11 of these 19 teams have every named decision maker on Telegram, while only 3 people in the whole set carry an email.
  • Sort by who is actually named. The 8 teams with 3 or more names hold 34 of the 53 people, and the other 11 give you 1 or 2 shots each.
How a BD team runs this list
  1. Slice by sectorA GET on /v1/projects with sector=DeFi returns DeFi companies, 100 a page for 5 credits a page; this list kept the 22 with a 2026 round.
  2. Score the team firstPerson records carry hasTelegram, hasLinkedin and hasEmail, so you spot the 52 of 53 with a channel before paying to reveal one.
  3. Start where there is a choiceGauntlet and Jupiter name 6 each, and the 8 deepest teams hold 34 of the 53 names.
  4. Write to the commercial title11 of the 53 hold a BD, growth or marketing title, among them Daniel Oon at Katana Network and Nazri Nordin at Ranger.
  5. Reveal only the ones you will send to10 credits the first time per person, then 5, so 53 first reveals is 530 credits.

Can you pull this data through the NAUT API?

Yes. GET https://api.naut.so/v1/projects/gauntlet-network returns Gauntlet, 1 of the 2 largest teams on this list at 6 people, tied with Jupiter, with its team; person records carry jobTitle and the channel flags. And GET https://api.naut.so/v1/projects?sector=DeFi&limit=100 returns the DeFi universe this list was cut from, with the key sent as Authorization: Bearer $NAUT_KEY. Repeat the per-company call on any slug in the table. Mint a key at naut.so/developer, and see naut.so/docs/api and naut.so/pricing. Verified Telegram, email and LinkedIn for the people on NAUT unlock on any paid plan: start a 7-day trial.

Crypto lead list FAQ

How do I build a list of crypto leads automatically?

Run 3 calls against the NAUT API in a loop: GET /v1/projects?sector=<sector>&limit=100 for the universe, GET /v1/projects/{slug} for each company's team, and GET /v1/people?q=<title>&contactType=team to filter by the role you sell to. The sector call returns DeFi companies 100 a page. This article kept the 22 with a round dated in 2026, which took 24 calls and 120 credits, and their teams name 53 current decision makers across 19 teams as of 31 October 2026.

Where can I find these 53 DeFi decision makers and their contact channels?

On their NAUT people pages and through GET /v1/people/{id}?include=private, which returns the email, phone, Telegram and LinkedIn for 10 credits the first time and 5 after that. Of the 53 named at these 19 companies on 31 October 2026, 44 carry an X handle, 42 a Telegram handle, 32 a LinkedIn URL and 3 an email, and 52 carry at least 1 of them.

Which DeFi teams raised the most in 2026 on this list?

Flying Tulip, across an IDO and ICOs between 21 January and 16 February 2026, then Gauntlet at $125M in a Series C on 9 July 2026 and Jupiter at $35M in a Strategic Round on 2 February 2026. The rounds that state an amount add to more than $400M on NAUT's record.

What does a DeFi lead list cost on the NAUT API?

5 credits per data or search call, so the 24 calls that build this list cost 120 credits. The Essential plan is $49 a month for 3,000 credits, which is 600 data calls, Pro is $99 for 6,000 and Team is $249 for 15,000; a 7-day free trial grants credits, and a key without enough credits returns clearly marked SAMPLE data at 0 credits.

How current is this crypto lead list?

It was read from NAUT's database on 31 October 2026 and covers rounds dated in calendar 2026, the most recent being hylo_so's $1M strategic round on 20 October 2026. Re-running the same 3 calls returns the list as it stands that day, which is the point of building it through the API.
