How to find crypto investors by round size: 28 funds, 4 steps

28 Crypto investors active crypto funds on NAUT, shortlisted in 4 steps by the median round each joined. Logos: OKX Ventures, Amber Group, MH Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, Gate.io Labs, DWF Labs, Coinbase Ventures, Morningstar Ventures, SNZ Holding, SevenX Ventures, Mirana Ventures, Spartan Group.

How to find crypto investors by round size, in short: fix the number you are raising, screen funds on the median round they join rather than the average, drop the ones that have gone quiet, then open the fund's page and name the partner. NAUT tracks 28 active crypto venture funds that have joined 8 or more rounds with a disclosed amount since 1 January 2024, 24 of them list at least 1 person by name, and 13 of the 28 have an average round at least 2x their median.

How this screen was built: on 24 October 2026, NAUT read every funding round it holds that was announced from 1 January 2024 to 23 October 2026. That is 2,526 rounds at 1,159 companies, 2,396 of them with a disclosed amount. For each investor NAUT then measured the size of the rounds it is recorded as joining. That is the round, not the cheque: what a single fund put in is almost never public, so a fund that wrote $500k into a $20M round counts as a $20M round here. A firm needed 8 or more rounds with a disclosed amount to be measured at all. 65 firms reached that bar, and 28 survived the screens below:

Every figure below is NAUT's coverage of the market on 24 October 2026, not the whole market. A fund can be writing cheques that NAUT has not recorded yet. 3 of the 28 answer to a different name than the one on their NAUT page: Gate.io Labs presents itself today as Gate Ventures, Alliance DAO as Alliance, and SamsungNext as Samsung Next. Wintermute needs a word of its own: it is a market maker whose investing runs through a venture arm of the same name, and NAUT records the rounds against the parent row, so read that row as the group's venture activity.

How to find crypto investors by round size, in 4 steps

The screen runs on 1 number you already know: the size of the round you are raising.

  • Your round size is the filter, and the median round a fund joins is the thing to filter on.
  • A fund's average is pulled up by its biggest deal, so screening on it aims you at funds above your weight.
  • A fund that has not appeared in a round for a year is a slow no.
  • The shortlist is worth nothing until it has a person's name against each row.
The 4-step screen
  1. Fix your numberRaising $5M? That is the filter. The 28 funds here run from a $2.98M median at Maven Capital to $35M at SamsungNext.
  2. Screen on the median10 funds have a median round from $5M to just under $10M, among them DWF Labs and Maven 11 Capital.
  3. Drop the quiet ones27 other firms cleared the size bar and have no tracked round since 24 October 2025. They are not on the shortlist.
  4. Name the partner24 of the 28 list people on NAUT, 232 in total. Pantera Capital lists the most, at 25.

Step 1: fix the number you are raising

Pick the round size, not the valuation and not the range. A $3M seed and a $12M Series A point at different funds, and a fund that writes into $3M rounds will rarely anchor a $12M one. The 28 funds below span a median round of $2.98M at Maven Capital up to $35M at SamsungNext, so the number alone leaves at most 11 of the 28 in play.

Step 2: screen on the median round, with the average beside it

Sort the funds by the median size of the rounds they join and take the band around your number. On NAUT's data the bands fall out like this: 5 funds sit under $5M, 10 from $5M to just under $10M, 11 from $10M to just under $25M, and 2 at $25M or more. A median of exactly $10M counts in the $10M to $25M band, which is where Amber Group, Borderless Capital, OKX Ventures and Pantera Capital land. Keep the average in view as the ceiling the fund has reached at least once, which is what the table's second number is for.

Step 3: drop the funds that have gone quiet

A fund with a good median and no recent round is a slow no, and a slow no costs more than a fast one. 27 firms cleared the size bar here and have nothing on NAUT since 24 October 2025. Check the date of a fund's most recent round before you write to it, on its NAUT page or its own site.

A recent date is necessary and it is not sufficient, which is why this list ran a source check on top of it. Shima Capital and ArkStream Capital both had a round inside the last 12 months and both came off the list anyway: the SEC sued the first in November 2025, and the second had written in its own quarterly report that it stopped primary-market investing. Give every fund on your own shortlist the same 3 checks: its site, its X account, and a search for its name with the word "SEC".

The cutoff also has an edge, and it is worth knowing which funds sit on it. 6 of the 28 have no tracked round in 2026 at all: Maven Capital, DWF Labs, OKX Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, Gate.io Labs and Morningstar Ventures. Maven Capital and DWF Labs were last seen on 24 October 2025, exactly 12 months before this screen ran, so a week either way would move them off it.

Step 4: name the partner, then write to that person

A list of firms is not yet a shortlist, because you cannot send a note to a firm. Open each fund's NAUT page, read the People tab, and pick the person whose title says they decide: Partner, General Partner, Managing Partner, Founder. 24 of the 28 funds list at least 1 person, 232 people across the shortlist. NGC Ventures lists Jack Lu and Tony Gu; Maven 11 Capital lists Darius Rugys and Jochem Wieringa; Borderless Capital lists Amit Mehra and Arul Murugan. The remaining 4 funds, Gate.io Labs, Maven Capital, SamsungNext and SNZ Holding, have no one named on NAUT yet, so they need a route of their own.

Which crypto funds invest at my round size?

Read your number off the chart, then take the band either side of it. The shortest answer: raising around $5M gives you 10 funds, raising around $15M gives you 11, and raising under $5M narrows it to 5.

Median round size each fund joined, 28 active crypto funds
  1. SamsungNext$35M
  2. Robot Ventures$27M
  3. Coinbase Ventures$18M
  4. Wintermute$16M

  6. Framework Ventures$15M
  7. Polychain Capital$13.5M
  8. Mirana Ventures$13.5M
  9. SevenX Ventures$13.3M
  10. Pantera Capital$10M
  11. OKX Ventures$10M
  12. Borderless Capital$10M
  13. Amber Group$10M

  25. Moonrock Capital$4.3M
  26. Solana Ventures$4.3M
  27. Morningstar Ventures$4M
  28. Maven Capital$2.98M

The chart is the median, so half of each fund's tracked rounds were smaller than the bar and half were larger.

What does the full shortlist look like, fund by fund?

28 funds across 263 rounds, sorted by median round size. Each median rests on between 8 and 33 rounds with a disclosed amount announced since 1 January 2024, and each fund's own NAUT page carries its round count and its people.

Fund Median round Average round
$2.98M $3.01M
$4M $7.7M
$4.3M $14.9M
$4.3M $9.6M
$4.8M $6.1M
$5M $7.4M
$5M $8.6M
$5.5M $13.4M
$5.5M $9.8M
$6.7M $14.7M
$7M $25.3M
$7M $15.8M
$7M $9.8M
$7.5M $14M
$8M $14.5M
$10M $23.9M
$10M $13.5M
$10M $15.3M
$10M $33.7M
$13.3M $24.8M
$13.5M $31.8M
$13.5M $32.8M
$15M $34M
$15M $31.7M
$16M $44.3M
$18M $35.9M
$27M $44.2M
$35M $41.1M

Every fund in the table has at least 1 round on NAUT since 24 October 2025. The smallest round any of them joined is $0.5M, by OKX Ventures.

Why is the average round size higher than the median at every fund?

Because 1 large round lifts an average and leaves a median where it was. All 28 funds here have an average above their median, and 13 have an average at least 2x their median. The widest gaps are Big Brain Holdings at $25.3M against a $7M median, Solana Ventures at $14.9M against $4.3M, and Pantera Capital at $33.7M against $10M.

1 round explains a lot of it. Monad raised $225M in April 2024 with 39 backers recorded on NAUT, and that single round is the largest tracked round for 6 of the 28 funds here: Amber Group, Coinbase Ventures, Mirana Ventures, Robot Ventures, SevenX Ventures and Wintermute. Screen on averages and you would size a pitch to Pantera Capital at its $33.7M figure when the typical round it joins is $10M.

How to find crypto investors who are still writing cheques

Run the date filter the moment you have a size band, because an out-of-date shortlist is the one that wastes the most time. 27 firms cleared the 8-round bar and have no round on NAUT announced since 24 October 2025: Bankless, Banter Capital, Bitscale Capital, Blockchain Founders Fund, CMS Holdings, Cogitent Ventures, Comma3 Ventures, ConsenSys, CSP DAO, Delphi Digital, Dutch Crypto Investors, Figment Capital, Foresight Ventures, GBV Capital, Hack VC, Hashed, HTX Ventures, Hypersphere Ventures, IOSG Ventures, Kucoin Labs, Mechanism Capital, Momentum 6, Presto Labs, Primitive Ventures, Quantstamp, Signum Capital, TRGC.

That is a statement about NAUT's coverage, not a verdict on the firm. Some of these are active and quiet about it, some have moved to later stages, and some have stopped. Treat the date as a prompt to check the fund's own site and X account before you spend a week on an introduction.

Who do you contact once a fund is on your shortlist?

The person whose title says they write cheques. Across the 28 funds, NAUT lists 232 people, from 25 at Pantera Capital down to none at the 4 named in step 4. Read the title before the name: a Partner or a General Partner can take a meeting to the investment committee, and an Analyst or an Associate usually routes you to one of them first.

Then pick 1 name per fund. A fund that lists 25 people on NAUT still gives you 1 shot at it, because the same note landing with several partners at one firm is visible to all of them.

How to find crypto investors FAQ

How do I find crypto investors that match my round size?

Sort funds by the median size of the rounds they join, take the band around the number you are raising, drop any fund with no round in the last 12 months, then name a Partner at each one. NAUT's screen on 24 October 2026 returns 28 active crypto funds with medians from $2.98M to $35M.

Which crypto funds invest in rounds around $5M?

10 funds on NAUT have a median round from $5M to just under $10M and at least 1 round since 24 October 2025: DWF Labs, Gate.io Labs, Alliance DAO, Sfermion, SNZ Holding, Big Brain Holdings, Fenbushi Capital, MH Ventures, Spartan Group and Maven 11 Capital.

Why use the median round size instead of the average?

Every one of the 28 funds measured has an average round above its median, and 13 have an average at least 2x the median, because a single large round lifts an average. Monad's $225M round of April 2024 is the largest tracked round for 6 of them.

Which crypto funds on this list have no one named on NAUT?

Gate.io Labs, Maven Capital, SamsungNext and SNZ Holding list no people on NAUT as of 24 October 2026, so a founder has to find the partner through the fund's own site or X account.

How many crypto rounds does this screen cover?

2,396 rounds with a disclosed amount, announced between 1 January 2024 and 23 October 2026, across 1,159 companies. The 28 funds in the table account for 457 fund-to-round links inside that set.
